Maintenance
To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of the Portable X-Wall, proper maintenance is important.
Fortunately, this is very simple in practice.
In this chapter, you will learn what you can do yourself to keep the system clean and up to date, and when it is better to contact our technical support team.
3.1 Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep the wall and floor area clear
Make sure there are no obstacles or objects between the projector and the wall during gameplay. This can interfere with motion detection and cause movements to no longer be detected properly.
Regularly check the environment
Keep the area around the projector and camera free from dust.
Avoid water, condensation, or any form of moisture.
In addition, you can clean dust from the portable case and sensor every few months.
Cleaning the projector filter
The projector inside the Portable is equipped with a dust filter.
Try to clean this filter every few months.
Please note: this does not apply to the Portable XL.
You can access the dust filter by opening the front cover, sliding the tab above the grille to the right, and at the same time pulling the grille towards you.

3.2 Technical care and what you should never do yourself
Never move the projector or camera yourself
These components have been carefully calibrated during installation.
Moving or rotating them may cause the X-Wall to stop functioning correctly.
If you experience any issues, always contact our support department.
Do not open the portable case yourself
All cabling and hardware have been professionally installed.
Attempting to modify or repair the system yourself may cause damage and void the warranty.
Software updates
All interface updates are automatically installed when the X-Wall starts up, so there is nothing you need to do yourself.
